I am raised by a Danish mom and a German father and have been working as a Director of Photography ever since. I grew up in the north of Germany and started my career as a Photographer in my very early years. My Danish Aunt, a Photographer by herself gave me my first pocket-camera when I was six years old. I lost my hair when I was seven years old because of an immunodeficiency. After going through hard times, it soon became my trademark.
After finishing school, I studied film and photography until 2010 on the beautiful island Rügen. Beside my passion for filming and taking pictures, I am a passionate Kitesurfer and spend most of my time on water. I worked in a filmproduction company for three years in Hamburg after that I became a freelance DOP.
Currently I’m based in Hamburg, but travelling the whole world for my projects. In 2014/2015 I spent half a year in Cape Town, South Africa and gave my support to the Maboneng Project as well as Matchbox South Africa. Most recently I’m working on my own portrait series and different commercials for brands like Mercedes, Volkswagen, KIA, Telekom, Google etc.
